A gas transport vehicle exploded in the city of Agbor in southeastern Nigeria.
At least 30 people died.
According to foreign media reports, the explosion occurred on the evening of January 22 at a gas station.

The explosion was caused by a leak in the distribution hose.
Seventeen people were reportedly injured in the explosion and taken to hospital with burns.
After the explosion, a fire started, damaging more than 30 houses located near the station.
An oil palm plantation also burned completely.
