The spouse of an African leader chose to garner notice with a patterned ensemble never before seen.

Pope Leo XIV, who assumed office the prior year, undertook an 11-day journey to Africa, which incorporated visits to Equatorial Guinea and encounters with the nation’s president and his partner, Theodore Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Constance Mangé.

The 74-year-old woman resolved to receive the pontiff uniquely, commissioning a suit showcasing his large image and donning it for their meeting.

The first lady's outfit featured a buttoned top with full-length sleeves and a lengthy skirt. Both pieces were blue, had a prominent pattern, and were embellished with shiny strips.

Completing the style was a head covering crafted from the same textile as the suit.

Constance Mange also sported high heels, coordinating them with a Chanel purse.
