Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski responded to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban's statement regarding the incursion of Russian drones into Poland. He called for an end to neutrality and condemnation of Russian aggression, Sikorski wrote on the social network X.

“No, Viktor. This incident proves that you must stop taking a neutral position and condemn Russian aggression,” the Polish Foreign Minister noted.

He also called for unblocking EU defense funds, approving tougher sanctions against Russia, and lifting the veto on the start of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU.

Orban previously wrote on the social network X that Hungary fully supports Poland after the latest incident and condemns the violation of its territorial integrity.

However, he believes that this incident proves that Hungary's policy of calling for peace in the war between Russia and Ukraine “is well-founded and prudent.”

As a reminder, the Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita reported that on the night of September 10, 23 Russian drones violated Polish airspace . At the same time, Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that about 19 drones had flown into Poland, and that for the first time some of them had arrived from Belarus. At least one Polish house was damaged by Russian drones .

NATO, after Poland submitted a formal request, invoked Article 4 of the North Atlantic Treaty.
