The Russians continue to shell Ukraine. On the night of May 25 (from 17:30 on May 24), the enemy attacked with 262 attack UAVs of the Shahed type (including jet-powered), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parody-type simulator drones. This is reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defenses shot down/suppressed 246 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas type and drones of other types in the north, south and east of the country. Hits of 10 attack UAVs were recorded at 9 locations, as well as the fall of downed ones (fragments) at 7 locations,” the message says.
As reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA Ivan Fedorov, three people were injured as a result of enemy attacks on the Zaporizhzhia district. In total, during the day the invaders launched 753 strikes on 48 settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region.

“There have been 21 reports of damage to infrastructure, housing, and vehicles,” he wrote.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, three districts of the region were attacked by the enemy with drones and artillery. One person was injured. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk OVA Oleksandr Ganzha.
“In the Nikopol region – Nikopol, Marhanetska, Myrivska, Pokrovska, Chervonohryhorivska communities. Apartment and private buildings, an outbuilding were damaged. A 35-year-old man was injured. He is in the hospital in moderate condition. A house was damaged in the Mezhivska community of the Synelnyk district. Fires broke out in Apostolove, in Kryvyi Rih. Cars and infrastructure were damaged,” the report says.

The previous evening, another enemy UAV strike took place on the town of Bogodukhiv in the Kharkiv region. This was reported by the head of the OVA, Oleg Synegubov.
“Three people experienced acute stress reactions, including a 5-year-old girl,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, in Kyiv, the number of victims after the massive attack on May 24 has increased to 87 people, including three minors. Two people have died, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.
“Damage to civil and administrative infrastructure was recorded at 49 locations in the capital. In the Shevchenkivskyi district, where the entrance of a five-story building was destroyed as a result of the hit, rescuers unblocked the bodies of two deceased women. Rescuers dismantled 165 sq. m. of damaged reinforced concrete slabs. Dog handlers examined over 100 sq. m. of the territory, and psychologists of the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 112 people,” the report says.
As “FACTS” wrote, on the night of May 24, the enemy launched a massive combined strike on Ukraine using strike UAVs, air-, sea- and ground-based missiles. The main direction of the strike was Kyiv.
