US President Donald Trump stated he had delayed a scheduled military action against Iran following requests from the heads of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE, who suggested providing discussions an opportunity.

US President Donald Trump mentioned he had opted to put off a projected military assault on Iran following a plea from the executives of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
The US figure penned this on his social media platform, Truth Social.
As per Trump, Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, and UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan implored him to halt the offensive, which was supposedly slated for the approaching day.
As the US chief executive remarked, Arab leaders persuaded him that substantial talks were presently ongoing and that there remained an opportunity to secure a resolution.
Trump conveyed that the prospective accord should ascertain Iran does not acquire a nuclear arsenal. He indicated it was out of regard for partners that he directed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Daniel Kaine, and the US armed forces to refrain from striking.
Simultaneously, the leader of the White House underscored that the United States stands poised for an extensive military campaign should the parleys falter and the entities fail to achieve a satisfactory understanding.
The New York Times had earlier revealed that Trump's aides had already devised frameworks for recommencing military operations if diplomatic discussions definitively reach an impasse.
