The Polish President, Karol Navrotsky, despite an invitation from President Volodymyr Zelensky, is not planning to journey to Kyiv in 2026, according to information provided by the InPoland news outlet.
The presidents had a short discussion during a gathering at the Bucharest Nine summit in Romania. Navrotsky indicated that a visit to Kyiv may not occur prior to 2027.
Navrotsky and Zelensky still have the chance to convene in June 2026 in Gdansk at the Global Conference focused on the Reconstruction of Ukraine.
It is worth noting that the initial formal discussion between the heads of the two countries following the election of Karol Navrotsky as the Polish President occurred on December 19, 2025, in Warsaw.
