The French President, Emmanuel Macron, rendered a French song in Yerevan, the Armenian capital. He received instrumental accompaniment from Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on percussion, whilst the nation’s President, Vahagn Khachaturian, played the piano one-handed, according to dpa.
Reportedly, Macron delivered the song “La Bohème” by Charles Aznavour, a highly regarded French chanson performer. Aznavour was born in Paris in 1924 to Armenian immigrant parents and maintained strong connections with Armenia.
