First of all, they arrived at the Royal Melbourne Children's Hospital, where they visited young patients and their families, writes Geo News.
The couple were greeted warmly by a large crowd, with members of the public cheering and presenting them with flowers. The crowds that arrived at the venue seemed to be no less enthusiastic than the reception Princess Kate received when she returned to royal duties in early 2025 after undergoing cancer treatment.
The Royal Children's Hospital is one of Australia's leading paediatric hospitals, renowned for its specialist care, research and family-centred services, and is located in Royal Park. The visit is part of their mission to focus on mental health and community support.

The Sussexes also remembered the protocol they once followed as working royals, as Meghan chose an Australian designer for her fashion look. She wore an elegant navy Karen Gee dress paired with matching heels. Harry, who held her hand, was dressed in a matching suit and a simple white shirt for the semi-formal event.
