The President of the United States, Donald Trump, proclaimed the cessation of the offensive aimed at Iran.

Fox News journalist Maria Bartiromo, following her discussion with Trump, indicated that the American leader declared the conclusion of the undertaking against Tehran.

“I just had a conversation with the President. It was an excellent discussion. He spoke extensively about the economy, the conflict with Iran, and NATO. I’ll share a particular quote separately.

I remarked to him, “Mr. President, you continuously speak of this conflict as though it’s something past.”
I inquired, “Has it concluded yet?”

He responded, “It’s concluded,” Bartiromo conveyed.

David Barnea, the chief of Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad, stated on Tuesday that in spite of a substantial five-week military endeavor by the United States and Israel targeting Iran, the mission remains unfinished. Israel will persist in clandestine activities to alter the administration in Iran.

On February 28, 2026, Israel and the United States initiated a combined aerial and drone assault on Iran. The operation was given the codename “Roaring Lion” in Israel and “Epic Fury” in the United States.

The offensive resulted in the death of several high-ranking Iranian officials and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Donald Trump has frequently asserted the total annihilation of Iran’s military strength.

In response, Tehran discharged numerous ballistic missiles throughout the Middle East. Immediately after the commencement of the operation, Iran shut down the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial route for oil transportation. The blockade has had a detrimental effect on international energy stability and fuel costs.

Despite entreaties from Donald Trump, NATO members have refrained from intervening to reopen the strait, provoking the ire of the American President, who has even voiced considering the departure of the United States from the alliance.

After Iran and the US agreed to a temporary halt in hostilities lasting at least two weeks, the Iranians opted to impose charges on ships utilizing the strait. Nevertheless, Tehran is unable to completely reopen it due to their inability to remove mines.
