
In the Russian city of Sterlitamak (Bashkortostan), it was once again noisy – attack drones were spotted in the sky.
“This city is one of the centers of the chemical and petrochemical industry in Russia,” says Andriy Kovalenko, head of the Center for Countering Disinformation.

For example, the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant produces an additive for aviation fuel and lubricants for military equipment, while other enterprises also provide important components for aviation and missile technology, in particular for the production of explosives, gunpowder, and ammunition.
This time, according to one version, the target was the Sintez-Kauchuk plant.

Local residents are posting videos online of fires in the area of the city's industrial zone.
“Furious” kamikaze drones were spotted in the sky above the city.

“Sintez-Kauchuk” is considered one of the key clusters of Bashkortostan, it is associated with large structures such as “Bashneft”.
The city is located 1,300−1,400 kilometers from the borders of Ukraine.

Previously, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of Russian drilling rigs, ammunition depots, and enemy command posts.
