On Wednesday, April 15, U.S. President Donald Trump communicated that he had “pleased China” by opening the Hormuz Strait. Consequently, Beijing reportedly pledged not to dispatch its armaments to Iran.
This is articulated in the American president’s post on the social media platform Truth Social.
“China finds great satisfaction in my final decision to unlock the Strait of Hormuz. My actions benefit them as well, benefiting the entire world. This specific set of circumstances will not recur,” Trump penned.
As per him, it appears that Beijing has consented to withhold delivering weaponry to Iran.
“President Xi will present me with a grand, ample embrace upon my arrival in a few weeks,” the U.S. president incorporated in his statement, alluding to an anticipated visit to China in the forthcoming month.
Trump characterized the existing situation in the relationship between the United States and China as rooted in collaboration, expressing that the two nations are cooperating sagaciously and quite effectively. He further mentioned that the United States retains the capacity to wage war.
“We collaborate intelligently and admirably! Is this not more advantageous than engaging in combat??? BUT DO NOT FORGET, we are highly proficient in combat should it be necessary – markedly superior to any other party!!!” the American leader cautioned.

As is publicly known, vessel movement, including oil-bearing vessels, across the Strait of Hormuz, a crucial global commercial path, has been essentially suspended, and the U.S. is presently impeding Iranian harbors.
Earlier, U.S. President Donald Trump indicated that he dispatched a formal correspondence to Chinese President Xi Jinping, soliciting him to abstain from furnishing armaments to Iran.
In prior news, American intelligence conveyed that China may be preparing to transfer new air defense systems to Iran in the coming weeks.
Based on CNN’s reporting, this alludes, specifically, to portable anti-aircraft missile systems , which exhibit a potential threat to low-flying aircraft and were intensely utilized during the recent conflict.
Simultaneously, official Beijing negated supplying weaponry to Iran, asserting its adherence to stringent export oversight.
