In March 2026, 7 new towers with “Pantsyr” were built around the residence of Russian ruler Vladimir Putin in Valdai. The total number of air defense systems around the president's Valdai residence has reached 27, Radio Liberty reports.

According to satellite images from Planet.com, the construction of 7 new towers for the Pantsir began on one day, March 17. Some are already equipped with anti-aircraft missile systems.
Like the “Pantsyr” towers around Moscow, the air defense systems in Valdai are located around Putin's residence in two rings of large and small diameter.
As journalists previously found out, Alina Kabaeva spends a lot of time with Putin's sons at the Valdai residence, and one of the exact copies of his Kremlin office was built there for the Russian ruler himself.
