Negotiations between Ukraine and Russia are currently suspended, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on April 6, Russian media reported.

“As for the negotiation process, yes, it is still on pause. The Americans have a lot of other things to do, it is clear which ones. Therefore, it is difficult to gather in a trilateral format now,” he stressed.
Peskov also added that Russia and Ukraine continue to separately contact the United States through their own channels and exchange information.
As “FACTS” wrote, Kyiv expects that senior officials Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner will lead the US delegation to Ukraine this month.

While special envoy Witkoff and Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law, have visited Russia several times for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin, this will be their first visit to Ukraine. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham could also be part of the team.
