Remnants of an Iranian cluster missile impacted ground close to the Ukrainian embassy in Israel.
This information was shared by Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiga, as reported by RBC-Ukraine.
He mentioned that the rocket’s fragments came down only 30 meters away from the embassy. Luckily, the individuals present were inside the building, and no injuries occurred.
“This occurrence highlights, yet again, that the Iranian government represents a danger to everyone in the vicinity. It disregards not only the Vienna Convention, but also fundamental principles of human existence,” the minister stated.
War with Iran — latest news
It is worth recalling that the Israeli military asserts its readiness for combat in Iran “in the coming weeks.” They possess both the necessary supplies and personnel to do so, he added.
Previously, The Wall Street Journal indicated that Donald Trump is reportedly prepared to conclude the conflict with Iran without initiating action in the Strait of Hormuz. After all, attempting to reestablish complete maritime operations by force could considerably prolong the hostilities and extend them beyond the initial strategy, which envisioned a 4–6 week operation.
CNN reports that the American president is feeling frustration because Iran is unwilling to cease the conflict. Moreover, the publication’s journalists point out that the White House has disseminated inconsistent messages regarding the operation, resulting in dissatisfaction among Republican legislators and America’s allies.
