In Ahmedabad, a city in India, a remarkable global benchmark was established with the creation of an enormous flower arrangement, too massive to be lifted by hand.
The Guinness Book of Records confirms this.
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation orchestrated the presentation, and on January 7, 2025, it officially secured its place in the Guinness Book of Records as the planet’s largest floral bunch.
The composition, named Unity Blossom, incorporated 11,700 real chrysanthemums and became the focal point of the yearly flower extravaganza.
This grand-scale artwork attained impressive dimensions – exceeding 10 meters in both height and width, making it a genuine emblem of the festive season.

The flower show, which has taken place annually since 2013 along the Sabarmati River’s edge, has gradually evolved from a neighborhood happening into a well-known tourist attraction.
Each year, sizable exhibits and sculptures crafted from blossoms are fashioned here, blending artistry, culture, and customs.
This year's concept, “India – A Saga,” put emphasis on the nation’s fables, faith, and cultural legacy. Organizers aimed to present India’s advancement, variety, and coherence via floral displays.
The occasion sparked considerable interest: over 158,000 individuals attended the exposition within just the initial three days. Owing to the substantial stream of guests, the festival was even prolonged by a week.

Visitors were spellbound by the sights.
A local resident expressed her thoughts:
“I visit every year, and each year it gets progressively better. The theme was different last year, but this year’s spiritual theme, portraying the range of cultures and unity amidst variety, was exceedingly beautiful… It's simply astonishing.”
Currently, this exhibition is recognized as a true celebration for flower enthusiasts and among the most vibrant winter occasions in the area.
It is worth noting that previously, the world’s tallest bridge was inaugurated in China.
