A marriage celebration in Lucknow, India, devolved into a large-scale scuffle after a disagreement among attendees rapidly escalated.

The occurrence took place around the stroke of midnight on March 12. As per initial details, the argument originated between local Member of Parliament Tilak Chaudhary and an attendant. Subsequently, other guests joined the clash.
A visual recording released by the source depicts men striking one another with plastic seating, as screams resound throughout the venue. Those without physical objects resorted to using their fists. The altercation quickly expanded.
As reported by local news outlets, Chaudhary's allies interfered in the dispute, assaulting other attendees and hurling chairs.
Police personnel promptly arrived on the scene and were able to bring the situation under control. Afterward, the marriage ceremony proceeded.
A minimum of four individuals were detained and transported for medical assessment.

The bride's father, Pramod Kumar, indicated that the conflict was instigated by outsiders who forcefully entered the celebratory grounds.
“We were occupied with the wedding customs when all of a sudden, some interlopers broke in and caused disorder,” he expressed. “My relatives had no involvement with this fight. It is disgraceful that such individuals marred a sacred occasion. I request stringent measures from the authorities.”
As per accounts from those present, in addition to chairs, the participants in the brawl utilized sticks. Further anxiety was caused by accounts of potential gunfire, but the constabulary is currently validating this data.
Law enforcement has also initiated the steps to annul Chaudhary’s firearm permit. The compilation of evidence is ongoing, and further arrests are possible.
