The information that Mojtaba Khamenei, the new Supreme Leader of Iran, was injured during attacks by the US and Israel has been officially confirmed.
As reported by Deutsche Welle, this was stated by the spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esmail Bahai, who stressed that the health condition of Mojtab Khamenei “does not cause concern.”

“He is injured, but he is fine. I don't know when he will make his first address,” Bahai said in an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
However, today, Iranian television broadcast a statement on behalf of Mojahedin Khamenei. The statement, read by a presenter, said that Iran would not hesitate to “avenge the blood of Iranians” who were killed. There were promises to continue attacks on Dubai and block the vital Strait of Hormuz.

And the tabloid The Sun, citing its sources, claims that the 56-year-old son of the slain Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has lost at least one leg and also suffered serious damage to his stomach or liver. He is in a coma. The publication claims that he is not currently leading Iran's strategy, which is associated with the turmoil in the energy market.
Information about the injury of the successor to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in a strike on Tehran, was previously spread with reference to informed sources who claimed that the injury was the reason why the new supreme leader of Iran does not appear in public. Thus, the Israeli air force struck the building of the Assembly of Experts of Iran in the holy city of Qom during the counting of votes – this body is authorized to choose the next supreme leader of the Iranian regime.
