It should be noted that Armavir is a hub for pipeline logistics of petroleum products, where fuel is pumped through a main pipeline, accumulated in a tank farm, and shipped by rail.

The failure of such a node affects several elements of the system at once: it can disrupt the operation of a section of the pipeline and reduce pumping volumes, create a deficit in the tank buffer, and stop rail loading, through which fuel is distributed further to the regions.

In addition, Belgorod and the Belgorod district were subjected to massive rocket fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as reported by the governor of the Russian region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.

“According to preliminary information, there are no victims. Serious damage was caused to energy infrastructure facilities. As a result, interruptions in the supply of electricity, water, and heat were recorded. We will be able to assess the exact extent of the damage in daylight,” he said.

As “FACTS” wrote, at the end of February, the city of Belgorod and the Belgorod district were already under massive rocket fire.
