Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian expressed regret regarding the assaults on bordering nations, while concurrently dismissing the chance of Tehran capitulating.

He delivered this declaration through a recorded message, as indicated by The Times of Israel.

In his view, the US insistence on “absolute surrender” is “a fantasy they ought to bury with them.”

The Iranian president highlighted that his acting governing body had sanctioned a cessation of such aggressions, conditioned upon the absence of any attacks originating from their land.

“Moving forward, they must refrain from assailing neighboring nations or discharging missiles at them, unless those countries target us. I believe we ought to settle this through diplomatic channels,” stated Masoud Pezeshkian.

Trump's statement

US President Donald Trump has negated the prospect of any diplomatic settlement with Iran to put an end to the conflict.

“There will be no accord with Iran other than unconditional surrender,” he posted on Truth Social.

He asserted that the US and its partners would “labor relentlessly to guide Iran away from the edge of ruin” subsequent to the selection of a fitting new leader. Trump then emphasized that the nation possessed a “promising future.”
