Aerial defense systems neutralized Iranian drones above the UAE’s capital city.

On Thursday, March 5th, six foreign nationals sustained injuries in the United Arab Emirates’ capital, Abu Dhabi, due to fragments from a drone that was successfully intercepted.
This information was conveyed by The Times of Israel and Khaleej Times, referencing official sources.
“The Abu Dhabi government addressed an occurrence involving falling remnants after a drone was successfully intercepted by aerial defenses,” the statement indicated.
It’s mentioned that remnants from the neutralized UAVs landed in two separate locations within the ICAD 2 district of the Arab capital. As a consequence of the event, six individuals from Pakistan and Nepal suffered minor to moderate wounds.
As a reminder, on February 28th, subsequent to strikes by the US and Israel, the Iranian armed forces launched retaliatory attacks. Specifically, the American installation in the UAE’s capital was targeted by a missile. Around midday , significant blasts resonated in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. An Asian individual perished during the interception of ballistic projectiles. Shrapnel from the missile impacted an inhabited part of the metropolis.
