Wreckage of Russian Geranium-2 discovered in Emirates
In Dubai, UAE, debris from the Russian version of the Shahed, known as the Geran-2, was located. Russian identifiers were evident on the drone’s remains.
The pertinent visuals and clips were shared by a Russian individual within the “Russians in the UAE” forum, as reported by RBC-Ukraine.
Sources indicate that Dubai’s aerial defenses intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle marked “Geran-2”. This is a counterpart to the “Shahed”, which the Russians have commenced manufacturing domestically. Portions of the “Geran” were discovered in proximity to the vital port of Jebel Ali.
“Check out this discovery… Near Jebel Ali port. Seems the Geranium-2 was blown into Dubai… Haha. So, was there a chance to get sanctioned by your own drone? Just kidding,” the Russian posted in the forum.
As a reminder, in reaction to attacks by Israel and the US on Iran, Tehran executed strikes targeting Qatar , Saudi Arabia , and the United Arab Emirates.
