After the discussions, the American side communicated careful optimism concerning Russia’s willingness for continued interaction. Witkoff specified that these interactions foster measured anticipation for advancement toward a cessation of hostilities.

Against this setting, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy articulated that land matters are not amenable to resolution at the level of technical teams. He emphasized the requirement for direct interaction among national leaders and the participation of European allies in crucial segments of the negotiation endeavor.
