Zelensky revealed a potential exchange of proposals regarding the areas of eastern Ukraine at a gathering in the Emirates.

During trilateral discussions in the UAE, Ukraine and Russia may present each other with “suggestions concerning the eastern territories.”
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy communicated this point during a conversation with news outlets on the periphery of the Davos summit.
He acknowledged that the matter of territory is among the most complex and unresolved in the discussions. Zelensky noted this matter was presently under deliberation with President Donald Trump, alongside his advisors Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, plus US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
“I anticipate that in the trilateral sessions (in the UAE – Ed.) we might display some options to one another. It revolves around the eastern part of our nation. It pertains to the issue of land. This is a challenge we are still grappling with,” the head of state remarked.
Zelensky suggests that collaborative efforts could conclude the war.

President Zelenskyy expressed his expectation that Russia would demonstrate a willingness to compromise, potentially leading to a resolution to the war. He also disclosed the composition of the Ukrainian delegation for negotiations with Russia and the United States in the UAE.
According to the Financial Times, in the UAE, Ukraine and the US are expected to propose a limited truce and a cessation of attacks on energy infrastructure to the Kremlin, in return for Kyiv halting attacks on Russian oil processing plants and “shadow fleet” tankers at talks in Abu Dhabi.
