The incident occurred on the evening of January 3.
The plane, flying from Sharm el-Sheikh to Yekaterinburg, landed shortly after takeoff.
Everything turned out well.
As it became known, the pilot decided to return to the departure airport due to a technical error.
A malfunction was detected in the operation of one of the engines.
It was reported that there were 236 passengers on board, who after landing were directed to the international departures hall of the local airport.
According to the Egyptian ministry's statement, technicians have already carried out an inspection.
The cause of the malfunction has been identified and the necessary repairs have been completed.
