Russia is holding the first meeting of the Council of Permanent Plenipotentiary Representatives of the CIS countries this year in Minsk.
At the event, Moscow presented the concept of its chairmanship of the Commonwealth.
This concept, as Belta reports, was approved by Vladimir Putin on October 13 in Bishkek at the Council of Heads of State.

The document outlines vectors for further cooperation, a focus on achieving success, and a “unifying agenda.”
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin, who arrived in Minsk, believes that some areas of partnership need to be strengthened and more intensive.
According to him, we are talking about six areas: economic, military, and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Three more areas: foreign policy coordination, combating new challenges and threats, and expanding cooperation with external partners worldwide.
Overall, in Pankin’s opinion, the dynamics of cooperation within the CIS, including economic cooperation, are quite good.
Earlier, it was announced that flights from Minsk to the popular Russian resort city had resumed.
