Yemen has announced its intention to participate in the Middle Eastern conflict following the US assault on Iran’s atomic infrastructure.
The Yemeni Military Forces released a related declaration on X.
“Yemen will formally engage in the conflict; keep your vessels out of our maritime boundaries,” the communication stated.
“Should the US become involved in the assault and hostility against Iran alongside the Israeli adversary, the military will target its vessels and warships within the Red Sea,” the Yemeni Military Forces cautioned previously.
As a note, on the evening of June 22 , the US launched attacks on three Iranian atomic installations located in Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.
The attacks utilized GBU-57A/B bunker penetrating munitions. The US employed bunker penetrating bombs along with Tomahawk guided missiles in the strike on Iran. Trump indicated that all three locations were “completely and permanently decimated.” Iran verified the assault on nuclear installations, but did not elaborate on the ramifications.
In the meantime, the government of US President Donald Trump is preparing for a potential reaction from Iran, with the subsequent 48 hours being of heightened worry.
