Congressman Don Bacon (R-Nebraska) on Monday rebuked President Trump for his pronouncements regarding Ukraine’s purported strike on Putin’s abode, as reported by The Hill.
“President Trump and his staff ought to initially ascertain the realities before deciding culpability. Putin is a widely known, audacious falsifier,” Bacon posted on X.
Bacon, who is departing at the close of this legislative session, has consistently denounced Trump’s conduct on matters of international affairs, encompassing the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
While addressing journalists following a meeting with Israeli Premier Benjamin Netanyahu at Mar-a-Lago in Florida on Monday afternoon, Trump conveyed that Putin had informed him of the assault during a conversation earlier that day.

As a reminder, Donald Trump convened with Zelenskyy at Mar-a-Lago on Sunday to deliberate on the suggested 20-point accord for peace.
